Welcome Noah Pollak
I've given my American friend and colleague Noah Pollak publishing rights on this blog. He's an assistant editor at Azure Magazine in Jerusalem, and you may remember him as my traveling companion from some of my earlier dispatches.

If you haven't yet read it, don't miss his terrific essay Hope Over Hate about his trip to Lebanon in December.
Please give him a warm welcome and encourage him to post often.
Posted by Michael J. Totten at May 6, 2007 06:23 PMShalom Noah -- I like your writing, and your input is welcome. Nice that MJT has articulate and interesting friends, and lets them crash at his blog.
Ummm, MJT -- this is all Prix Fixe, right, not ala carte?
Posted by: Pam at May 6, 2007 06:37 PMPam, Noah can post as often as he likes. I'm not sure myself how often that will be. Ask him. :)
Posted by: Michael J. Totten at May 6, 2007 07:11 PMWelcome, Noah! Loved the Hope Over Hate piece, looking forward to reading you here.
Posted by: Karol at May 6, 2007 10:48 PMGreat addition! Love your stuff Noah.
Posted by: jonorose at May 7, 2007 12:16 AMWelcome Noah! (Greetings from Eilat)
After 'Hope over Hate' and the excellent podcast from Jerusalem, can't wait to read more of your work.
Posted by: mary at May 7, 2007 01:22 AMThanks, everyone. I'm flattered that Michael has invited me contribute, and I hope I don't make a mess of the place.
Posted by: Noah Pollak at May 7, 2007 02:13 PMYou're already doing great, Noah--big welcome from a devoted MJT fan.
One thing I very much like about Michael's site is a non-journalism thing -- he has a bias, which explicitly includes stating what outcome he wants.
Wanting an outcome is "non-objective", but refreshing, especially when one agrees with the outcome. I sincerely hope you take advantage of that blog freedom and state what outcomes you want, along with great journo insight into reporting the important and/or interestng truths you see.
