Home Again
I'm back in my West Coast abode and need to recover from jet lag and general travel exhaustion. Shelly and I also have house guests coming over later today -- Marc Danziger (aka "Armed Liberal" at Winds of Change) and his lovely wife. Back soon with pics from New York and articles from the Middle East.

Of yeah, welcome back and all that.
Posted by: Steve Smith at September 6, 2006 05:59 PMHope your homecoming was very warm!
Looking forward to your take on the Bush-hate, Rumsfeld must go folks; and whether you think the Dems have any other alternative.
Plus your thoughts on possible Israel-Lebanon/ Palestine peace scenarios, and etc.
Posted by: Tom Grey - Liberty Dad at September 8, 2006 08:52 AMWelcome back to the West Coast or North West Michael.
I'll second for: Your take on the Bush-hate, Rumsfeld must go. Could the mid-term be the end term for some?
Greetings.
Might you perhaps be related to Brigadier General Michael J. Totten, US Army (Retired), who is a legend in the small circle of the US Army's population of Foreign Area Officers specialized in the Middle East?
He was a MA graduate of AUB and later served as Defense Attache in Saudi Arabia, where I first met him. Don;t know quite where he is now since his retirement from a career of distinguished service and accomplishments. Fine gentleman and one helluva soldier.
If you two are not related, please accept my apologies.
