New Column

My new Tech Central Station column is up: Marching Towards a Democratic Iraq.

Great piece, again. The point about losing an election fits in with a "loyal opposition" -- unfortunately something the anti-US Left is seeming on the verge of losing.

In your crisp article you also didn't have time to speculate on the need for Iraqis to fight for freedom, and to have Iraqis win that fight.

Sunni cops who flee instead of fight are not the future heros that Iraq needs.

Splendid column, Michael, as always.

Brilliant article, Michael.

About the two tasks, the first one seems to be going fairly well. But I'm not sure how the second one is being handled. I'm not saying that it's going badly, I'm saying I genuinely don't know how its going.

Nice column.

The pictures this week of Iraqi election employees being executed in the streets of Baghdad says it all regarding who the "insurgents" really are.

I agree with you the way you view the issue. I remember Jack London once said everything positive has a negative side; everything negative has positive side. It is also interesting to see different viewpoints & learn useful things in the discussion.
