Quote of the Day

One November morning in 2004, Theo van Gogh got up to go to work at his film production company in Amsterdam. He took out his old black bicycle and headed down a main road. Waiting in a doorway was a Moroccan man with a handgun and two butcher knives.

As Theo cycled down the Kinnaeusstraat, Muhammad Bouyeri approached. He pulled out his gun and shot Theo several times. Theo fell off his bike and lurched across the road, then collapsed. Bouyeri followed. Theo begged, "Can't we talk about this?" but Bouyeri shot him four more times. Then he took out one of his butcher knives and sawed into Theo's throat. With the other knife, he stabbed a five-page letter onto Theo's chest.

The letter was addressed to me

From Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

The biggest targets of the Takfiri are fellow muslims. That is why it is so important for the world's 5.5 billion nonmuslims and 1.5 billion muslims to unite against them.

Does Ayaan Hirsi Ali successfully unify the ummah against the Takfiri extremists?

1.5 billion Muslims are not going to unite against those who put into action precisely what Muhammad, the unquestionable supreme leader of Islam, commanded all Muslims to do unto unbelievers and apostates until all the world bowed in Submission to his will.

The are millions upon millions, however, who would turn apostate at the drop of hat, if they knew it wouldn't cost them their head.

"Muhammad, the unquestionable supreme leader of Islam, commanded all Muslims to do unto unbelievers and apostates until all the world bowed in Submission to his will."

Strongly disagree. The Koran states that there can be no compulsion in religion. The Koran also states that there have been 60 thousand prophets born all over the world, most of them not muslim.

Anan... Do you even know the circumstance sunder which Muhammad said, "There is to be no compulsion in religion"? Do you know what abrogation is? How and why the rule of abrogation was "revealed" by Muhammad, twice? Do you know how Muhammad spread Islam through Arabia... or should I say, "inflicted it upon the Arabs"?

I know what the Koran says. And the hadith. And the Sirat Rasul Allah. And so does any imam, mullah, and jihadi worth his salt. They also know all about all about al-taqiyya; dissimulation for the furtherance of Islam... like telling unbelievers Muhammad said, "there is to be no compulsion in religion", without revealing anything else relevant to that statement.

It's called lying through omission, or in Islamic ideology: kitman.

Allow me to clarify my point:

From the bukhair hadith;

" Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

that while he was sitting with Allah's Apostle he said, "O Allah's Apostle! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interrupt us?" The Prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it..."

Here we see Muhammad, the conqueror, discovering his followers have been raping their female captives and performing coitus interruptus to prevent their becoming pregnant, and he responds with dismay, telling them they do wrong...

Except I'm bullshitting you. I'm completely misleading you. I'm doing what an Ahmed Deedat, or this joker trying to get a mosque, a symbol of Islamic conquest, built near ground zero, does; playing the Kuffar for a bunch of rubes.

Now let's try it with the full quote, and without the false narrative created through selective omission and careful choice of words;

"Volume 3, Book 34, Number 432:

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

that while he was sitting with Allah's Apostle he said, "O Allah's Apostle! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interrupt us?" The Prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence."

Here we see what is really happening. Muhammad, the pathologically narcissistic street-preacher, turned bandit, turned warlord, is telling his followers not to bother pulling out.

The very idea that raping unbelieving women, women who have not submitted to worshiping him as the final and absolute prophet (the "seal of prophets", and "perfected example" who can do now wrong), is not even brought up.

The very idea that raping unbelieving women could possibly be wrong, is not even on the radar... and why should it be? It was Muhammad himself, after all, who promised any man who followed him and waged jihad in his service, would be able to claim any captured woman as their "right hand possession"; their sex-slaves. Muhammad himself had more than a few, including at least a couple of his 13 "wives".

Many of his first generation of followers don't even seem to have really believed him a prophet at all; but slaughtering and enslaving everyone whom he pointed a finger at did make them rich, rich in plunder, and rich in slaves - just as the Koran promises.

PS- Muhammad, of course, had a great interest in the forced insemination of the slaves of his followers. Those ill-gotten offspring would all be raised into Islam, to serve him and his "glory".

anand sez: "Does Ayaan Hirsi Ali successfully unify the ummah against the Takfiri extremists?"

Well, anand: What do you think? Does she? Does the wmmah, the world community of muslims, even wish to be united against Takfiri extremists? Aren't these Takfiri extremists merely pious believers and careful followers of the texts of islam and the example of their (your) so-called prophet? The Iranian regime and hezbollah, which you have often run interference for, may be rivals of these takfiri extremists, but are they really any more acceptable for kafirs? In your perverted writings, you would support hezbollah since they are not the "takfiri extremist" bogeymen which you wish attention to be focussed exclusively on. No?
